We make the process simple. That will help you focus your energy on quitting tobacco. But there are a few steps you’ll need to take with our support. As part of your quit journey with the quitline you will:

  • Select the quitline program (phone + online, online only, or phone only) that works best for you.
     
  • Develop a quit plan. We will help you develop a quit plan that is right for you. The plan will help you choose a quit date and a support team. The plan will also help you deal with tobacco triggers.
     
  • Pick and order your nicotine quit medications (if offered). Quit medications can double or triple your chances of quitting for good. We can help you pick the option that works best for you.
     
  • Follow your quit plan. As you do this, we’ll give you support for overcoming challenges, managing stress, handling slips and rewarding yourself.
